Delft City Tours is looking for independent, part-time guides to lead walking tours of Delft on an ad-hoc basis — for both national and international visitors.

What we expect from you

You are able to independently lead an engaging, informative walking tour of approximately 1.5 hours through Delft's historic city centre. You know the city and its stories, and you can captivate and enthuse a diverse group of visitors.

You are completely free to choose your own route and content — there is no fixed script or mandatory itinerary. You decide how you run the tour. This is not just convenient for you as a freelancer; it is also the basis of our working relationship: a genuine client-contractor arrangement, with no employer authority over how you work.

We also ask for:

• Chamber of Commerce registration — you work as a self-employed professional
• Your own business accident insurance — you are responsible for your own cover
• Proficiency in at least one language besides Dutch (English, Spanish or another language is a plus)
• Flexibility in availability, with clear agreements on how much advance notice you need for an assignment

What we offer

You work on a call-up basis, at your own rates and at times that suit you. There is no fixed schedule or minimum number of tours per period. You decide when you are available and how much lead time you need to accept a booking.
